Fircrest Nursing Facility in Shoreline has achieved a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, ranking it among the top 10% of nursing homes in Washington state. The facility, which serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, provides personalized healthcare and engaging activities. Superintendent Ramanjeet Singh credited the nursing home team for this accomplishment, emphasizing that it reflects a collective effort. The facility also received praise from the King County Public Health infection control team for exceeding infection control measures. Singh noted that the staff's commitment to safety and strong relationships with residents' guardians is crucial.

He stated, “Timely assessment and personalized care planning are vital parts of what we do. ” Fircrest's achievements highlight its focus on quality care, especially during the pandemic. The facility aims to maintain high standards of care and support for residents and their families.
