The LFP Climate Hub mural is almost complete

Shoreline, WALocal News

Over 100 community members gathered at Third Place Commons to paint a mural, guided by local artist Debbie Tomassi. The mural, created using a "paint by number" technique, features ten distinct colors. This artwork is part of the LFP Climate Hub, designed to engage and inform residents about climate change and sustainability. The hub will serve as a central gathering point, offering resources relevant to all ages and backgrounds. Community members will find climate-related content posted on a bulletin board, fostering ongoing dialogue about environmental issues.

The initiative aligns with a broader climate plan to reduce emissions and preserve natural resources. Third Place Commons is located adjacent to Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park. This project reflects a strong commitment to building a resilient local community.
