On May 31, 2025, Shorewood High School will host a memorial service for Jackson Carroll, celebrating his life and contributions to the community. Jackson, who graduated from Shorewood High School in 2020, earned an Associate’s Degree while attending Shoreline Community College. He was known for his involvement in sports, including tennis and soccer, and later discovered a love for volleyball at Washington State University. As a substitute paraeducator at Syre Elementary, he built strong relationships with students, particularly those facing challenges. Jackson's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish an investment club, showcasing his leadership skills.

His family, including parents Joe and Michelle and sisters Julianne and Annalyse, remember him for his kindness and faith. Jackson’s deep impact on his community continues to resonate, as he is remembered for lifting others and living with purpose. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he touched.
