Tennis Shorewood Girls District 1 Team Champions

Shorewood girls' tennis team secured the District 1 Team Championship, marking their fourth consecutive victory in this event. Rylie Gettmann and Alex Mignogna faced off in the singles final, with Rylie winning the title. In doubles, the championship match showcased teammates Mari Brittle and Bridget Cox against Addy Falkin and Cally Webb, with Mari and Bridget claiming victory. All four athletes will represent Shorewood at the state tournament in Vancouver, Washington, scheduled for May 23rd and 24th. The tournament includes top players from the Northwest 3A, Skagit/Whatcom schools, and WesCo divisions.

Snohomish and Shorecrest aimed to challenge Shorewood's dominance this season. The team's consistent success reflects their dedication and skill, further bolstered by supportive coaching. Coaches Arnie Moreno, Christina Nelson, and JT Mashman congratulated their players on a remarkable season.
