Take part in creating the Lake Forest Park Climate Hub mural

Shoreline, WALocal News

A vibrant mural will soon grace the Lake Forest Park Climate Hub, designed by artists Debbie Tomassi and Staci Adman. The mural, measuring 24 feet long and 14 feet high, will serve as a stunning backdrop for the hub, which aims to educate residents about the local impacts of climate change. This hub will provide resources for community members to learn about issues like rising temperatures and air quality deterioration. Residents are encouraged to engage with ongoing environmental efforts and explore ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the area. A community paint day is scheduled for June 1, 2025, with all supplies provided for participants.

Interested individuals can register by emailing LFPclimatehub@gmail. com. The initiative reflects a broader commitment to fostering community involvement and awareness regarding climate change. By creating this hub, Lake Forest Park aims to empower residents to take action and connect with others who share similar environmental interests.
