The City of Shoreline is hiring part-time Youth Outreach Leaders, offering a wage of $17. 10 per hour for six available positions. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and enrolled in high school classes to apply. The Youth Outreach Leadership and Opportunities (YOLO) program aims to engage youth in connecting their peers with essential services and resources. Youth Outreach Leaders will work between 8-10 hours weekly, including attending mandatory meetings and training sessions throughout the school year.

Funded by King County's Best Starts for Kids, this program encourages youth leadership and community involvement. Participants will gain valuable experience in outreach, marketing, and event planning. Applications will be accepted until May 19, 2025, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. This initiative represents a strategic effort to foster inclusivity and support youth in Shoreline.
