Girls tennis Shorecrest girls secure their 10th victory on Senior Night

Shorecrest's girls varsity tennis team achieved a significant 6-1 victory against Edmonds-Woodway on May 1, 2025, during their Senior Night. Zoe Greenzweig dominated the singles competition, defeating Amelia Miller 6-2, 6-1, while Lily Haessler, Ally Miner, and Sophie Schmitz also secured wins. In doubles, despite a close match, Sydney Bates and Darcy Brennan from Edmonds-Woodway triumphed over Mia Halset and Walker Temme. Shorecrest's Lauren Kajimura and Thayer Katahara-Stewart won 6-3, 6-4, contributing to the overall score. Calla Rihnsmith and Sabina Schoeld delivered a strong performance, winning their match 6-1, 6-1.

This victory marked the team's 10th win of the season, highlighting their successful campaign. The event celebrated the seniors, showcasing their contributions to the team. Shorecrest's performance solidifies their reputation in the league as a formidable contender.
