The Shoreline Chamber of Commerce adopted a new Inclusion & Ethics Policy to foster an equitable business environment for its members. This policy outlines standards for respectful conduct and provides a structured, confidential process for addressing concerns. President Kevin Barrett stated that the initiative reflects the Chamber’s commitment to Shoreline's vibrant and diverse business community. Developed over several months, the policy incorporates feedback from Chamber Board Members, general members, and community voices. It draws on best practices from both local and national organizations, emphasizing inclusivity in customer service, community engagement, and supplier relationships.

Beginning this spring, all new and renewing members must acknowledge the policy to enhance accountability. The policy aims to guide business practices and strengthen community trust, with details available on the Chamber's website. This initiative signifies a proactive step towards ensuring that all individuals in Shoreline feel valued and supported.
