Public invited to 60th Anniversary Open House at Shoreline Community College May 8, 2025

Shoreline Community College will celebrate its 60th anniversary with a free Open House on May 8, 2025, from 3:00–7:00 PM on its campus in Shoreline, WA. The event will feature live performances, interactive demonstrations, and recreational activities such as pickleball and basketball. Attendees can participate in mini lectures led by faculty and have opportunities to register for classes. Shoreline President Dr. Jack Kahn noted the institution's commitment to welcoming diverse students and thanked the community for its support.

Founded in 1964, the College has served thousands of students from across the U. S. and more than 65 countries, offering over 100 academic programs. The celebration aims to foster community connections and highlight the College's role in student success. Light refreshments and food from local vendors will be available for purchase, along with raffle prizes and giveaways.

Alumni and former staff members are particularly encouraged to attend and reconnect with the College community.
