Bodi’s five-plus years on the City Council were marked by her dedication to shaping beneficial legislation for Lake Forest Park residents. “She was a dear, dear friend,” Mayor French stated, noting the significant impact she had on local governance. Beyond her public service, Bodi was a committed environmental advocate and attorney, known for her exceptional ability to foster consensus in the community. Councilmember Rod Dembowski highlighted her extensive career in environmental conservation, including roles at the Bonneville Power Administration and American Rivers.

Bodi's advocacy for parks and stream restoration work significantly influenced the region. Her legacy is one of community leadership and environmental stewardship. The City and its residents will miss her profoundly.
