Edmonds Driftwood Players presents Drinking Habits - opening May 16, 2025

Shoreline, WALocal News

The Edmonds Driftwood Players will delight audiences with their upcoming production of "Drinking Habits," running from May 16 to June 8, 2025, at the Wade James Theatre. This traditional farce, written by Tom Smith, revolves around two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing who resort to winemaking to save their convent. Their clandestine activities attract the attention of former fiancées Paul and Sally, who go undercover as a nun and priest. This leads to a series of comedic misunderstandings, as the convent becomes rife with paranoia about spies sent from Rome. The play promises to weave together themes of romance, betrayal, and the spirit of community.

Celebrating its 66th season, Edmonds Driftwood Players expresses gratitude to the local community for its ongoing support of the arts. Performances will take place on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8 PM, with Sunday matinees at 2 PM. Tickets are priced at $28 for adults and $25 for youth, seniors, and military personnel, with group discounts available.
