The Shorewood Girls Golf team demonstrated exceptional perseverance and teamwork during their recent match against Lynnwood, played under sunny skies at Jackson Park. In stark contrast to last week's rainy conditions, the team celebrated a solid victory, scoring 221 against Lynnwood's 243. Sadie Austad made headlines by achieving her personal best with a score of 48, closely followed by Julia Kang at 49 and Ivy Ren at 51. Lynnwood's standout player, Stacey Lee, posted a commendable score of 54. The atmosphere on the course was filled with encouragement, as the girls consistently supported one another, showcasing their strong team spirit.

Coach Val Patrick highlighted their dedication and heart, which were evident in both their performance and interactions. This match not only reflects their skill but also their commitment to fostering a positive environment.
