Berean Bible Church welcomes all to Good Friday and Easter services

Shoreline, WALocal News

Berean Bible Church in Shoreline is inviting the community to join its Good Friday and Easter Sunday services, emphasizing a warm welcome for families and individuals. The Good Friday Tenebrae Service, starting at 7:00 PM, will feature candles, scripture readings, hymns, and songs that reflect the deep sadness of the Passion week, culminating in the crucifixion. The atmosphere will darken gradually, ending with a single lit candle symbolizing hope and the message that "Sunday is Coming. " On Easter Sunday, the celebration begins at 11:00 AM, focusing on the pivotal event of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is fundamental to the Christian faith. The children's participation includes a skit depicting an empty tomb, followed by a performance from the Children's Choir, enhancing the service's joyfulness.

Pastor John Spooner has stated that from the moment you enter, you'll feel genuinely welcomed, highlighting the church's commitment to creating an inviting environment. This year marks the 61st anniversary of Easter worship at Berean Bible Church, making it a significant occasion for the congregation. Located at 2345 N 185th Street, the church provides full children's care and encourages everyone to partake in this celebration of hope and renewal.
