Shoreline Community College is excited to announce a new Hip-Hop Dance & Culture class for students aged 13 and older, running from May 8 to June 12, 2025. Led by Albee Abigania of the Kontagious Performing Company, this six-week course offers a unique opportunity to delve into the vibrant world of hip-hop dance. Participants will explore foundational styles such as popping, locking, and breaking, all while building their strength, coordination, and confidence. Importantly, no prior dance experience is required, making the class accessible to everyone interested in learning. Set in a supportive, small-group environment, students will also have the chance to develop their freestyle expression.

Classes are scheduled for Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:50 PM in the 3000 Building (Athletics) on campus. The fee is $199, and with space limited to just 10 students, those interested should register quickly to secure their spot. This course not only promotes physical fitness but also fosters creativity and self-expression through the dynamic culture of hip-hop.
