Workshop Parental support strategies for students with ADHD

Join Eastside on April 15, 2025, for a free online workshop led by Dr. Margaret Sibley, a renowned expert in ADHD and child psychology. This session will provide parents with practical strategies to support their children in achieving academic autonomy, a crucial skill for students with ADHD. Topics will include homework completion techniques, time management strategies, and tips for maintaining organization, catering to a wide range of student levels from elementary to high school. As space is limited, early registration is advised, with priority given to Eastside CHADD members.

The workshop is designed to engage parents in their children’s educational journeys, highlighting the balance between fostering independence and ensuring accountability. Importantly, the session will not be recorded, so participants are encouraged to join 10 minutes early to ensure a smooth experience. A Zoom link will be sent to registered attendees ahead of the meeting. This workshop represents a valuable opportunity for parents seeking effective ways to help their children thrive academically.
