The Shoreline Lake Forest Park Senior Activity Center is hosting a variety of health and wellness events in April 2025, targeting the needs of the senior community. On April 11, in partnership with POCAAN, free medical services will be provided, including wellness exams and translation services available in over 100 languages. This initiative ensures that seniors have access to crucial health assessments without financial barriers. Furthermore, the center will welcome the Fred Hutch Mammogram Van on April 29, offering convenient yearly screenings to enhance accessibility for women in the area. A Dementia Friends presentation on April 16 will help raise awareness about dementia, providing attendees with critical information and community resources.

These programs emphasize the center's dedication to promoting health and wellness among seniors, with many services offered completely free of charge. Registrations are encouraged due to limited availability, underscoring the high demand for these essential services. By fostering a supportive environment, the Shoreline center is making significant strides toward improving the health and well-being of its older residents.
