Shorewood fastpitch softball team goes 2-0 in preseason jamboree

The Shorewood High School fastpitch softball team displayed impressive talent during their preseason jamboree on March 8, 2025. Hosting teams Sultan and Orcas Island, Shorewood secured victories in both matches, defeating Sultan 9-2 and Orcas Island 11-1. This successful outing sets a positive tone for the team's upcoming regular season, which begins on March 12 against Holy Names Academy at the Meridian Park Field. The jamboree not only provides a competitive edge but also fosters community spirit and support for local sports. Coach Paul Jensen expressed pride in the team's performance, emphasizing their hard work and dedication in preparation for the season.
