Two people rescued during sailboat race

The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office was quick to respond, rescuing the man and woman from the water around 11:30 AM. Upon reaching Edmonds Marina, they were met by South County firefighters who promptly transported them to Swedish Edmonds hospital for treatment. One individual was reported to be in serious condition, while the other suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Thankfully, both were wearing life jackets, which likely mitigated the severity of their injuries.
