LFP creates webpage with information about interactions with Sound Transit about the Stride BRP project

Shoreline, WALocal News

The Lake Forest Park Administration has launched a dedicated webpage to compile information about the city’s interactions with Sound Transit concerning the Stride Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. This new resource was developed following numerous requests from residents for a centralized location to access pertinent documents and communications. The webpage includes links to crucial documents, such as letters addressed to the Sound Transit Board of Directors, city permits, and various plans and technical memos. A user-friendly table is also provided, connecting visitors to city council meeting agendas where discussions about the BRT line occurred. This initiative aims to enhance transparency and keep the community informed about transit developments.

Updates will be added to the webpage as new information becomes accessible, reinforcing the administration's commitment to open communication. The move is seen as a positive step toward fostering community engagement on important transportation matters. As public transit continues to be a focal point of urban development, this resource will play a significant role in informing residents about ongoing changes.
