Design workshops for new Shoreline parks - March 19, March 22, 2025 and online

Shoreline, WALocal News

The City of Shoreline is excited to announce upcoming design workshops for two new parks, scheduled for March 19 and March 22, 2025. The workshops will be held at the Dale Turner YMCA and Westminster Park, where community members of all ages are encouraged to participate. This initiative aims to gather resident feedback on the proposed designs for West Echo Lake and 192nd & Hemlock, as well as Westminster Park. The city has already received valuable input from the community, which has helped shape the initial concept plans. Attendees will have the chance to review these plans and discuss community priorities with city officials.

This participatory approach not only fosters community engagement but also ensures that the parks meet the needs and desires of residents. The workshops highlight Shoreline's focus on developing inclusive and accessible public spaces. By inviting community input, the city demonstrates its commitment to transparency and collaboration in local governance.
