Ranking UW library and information management best in the country, second best in the world

The University of Washington (UW) has been recognized as the best institution in the United States and the second best in the world for library and information management, according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject. This prestigious ranking evaluates the reputation and research output of academic subjects at over 5,200 institutions across the globe. Alongside its top ranking in library and information management, UW has four other programs that have earned spots in the top ten, including nursing, geology, geophysics, and earth and marine sciences. In total, the university has 31 programs ranked in the top 100 and 16 in the top 50. This achievement highlights UW's dedication to academic excellence and its significant contributions to various fields of study.
