The City of Shoreline has issued a Call to Artists for its 2025 Artist in Residence Program at the Cottage at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park, a setting known for its natural beauty and historical significance. This sixth annual program invites both emerging and established artists aged 18 and older from King, Pierce, or Snohomish counties to apply for one of four residency spots. Selected artists will enjoy a six-week period to create new works while engaging with the local community through open studio sessions. The program culminates in a public presentation, showcasing the artistic journey and completed works of the residents. Each artist will receive a $2,000 honorarium to support their creative process.

The Cottage offers essential amenities such as workspaces, Wi-Fi, and access to the surrounding natural areas, fostering an ideal environment for artistic exploration.
