The Children's Parade, taking place on May 13, 2017, invites children aged 8 and under to celebrate the Richmond Beach Strawberry Festival with a lively procession themed around "Pokemon. " Participants are encouraged to plan their costumes and props, as they will gather for staging at 11:15 a. m. on NW 197th Street, with the parade commencing at 11:45 a. m.

The parade will feature two laps around the park, accompanied by the energetic sounds of a drum line from Shorewood High School.
