Music4Life gives Shoreline Public Schools three additional instruments

Shoreline, WALocal News

Music4Life has made a significant impact on music education in Shoreline Public Schools by donating three additional instruments, including a restored flute, a full-sized violin, and a convertible trombone. These donations were presented by David Endicott during the Shoreline Arts Festival, showcasing the community's commitment to supporting music education. Since September 2016, a total of 34 instruments have been delivered, valued at over $17,000, demonstrating the program's effectiveness in enhancing access to musical opportunities. The initiative is driven by the belief that every child should have the chance to play an instrument, irrespective of their family's financial situation. Endicott also collected additional instruments and financial contributions during the festival, which will be used for refurbishing and donating more instruments to local schools.

The organization aims to continue its efforts by delivering more instruments before the academic year starts on August 31. This grassroots movement highlights the importance of community involvement in enriching students' educational experiences. Music4Life's commitment to fostering a love for music among youth is commendable and vital for the future of arts education.
