Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park is set to host an array of author events throughout April 2023, designed to engage the local literary community and celebrate new releases. The month kicks off with a joint book launch featuring Elana K. Arnold and Martha Brockenbrough, showcasing their latest middle-grade novels. On April 10, the bookstore will welcome the local writing group Sisters in Crime for an evening of readings, highlighting the talents of various authors. A standout event will be on April 13, featuring bestselling author Angie Thomas, who will discuss her middle-grade debut inspired by African American history.

This series of events aims to foster a love for reading among diverse audiences, including children and adults alike. Registration is required for both virtual and in-person attendance, ensuring that all participants can engage fully with the authors.
