Volunteer for the Point in Time Count

The Point in Time Count in King County will take place from January 26 to February 6, 2026, and requires significant volunteer support. Roles available include supporting hub-site operations, conducting interviews, and transporting supplies. Volunteers are encouraged to specify "Shoreline" in the sign-up form to facilitate proper regional coordination. Training sessions for volunteers will be held on December 15, 16, and 17 from 5:00-6:00 PM, and on December 18 from 12:00-1:00 PM. This data collection effort aims to shed light on the challenges faced by those experiencing chronic houselessness.

By participating, volunteers can contribute to a better understanding of this social issue and help direct resources to those in need. Local engagement is vital for the success of this initiative, highlighting the community's role in addressing homelessness.
