King's senior to attend and play for Virginia Tech starting Fall 2026

Kaleo Anderson, a highly regarded prep basketball player, signed her letter of intent to join Virginia Tech University on November 12, 2025. The signing event occurred at Mike Martin Gymnasium in King’s High School, Shoreline, where she celebrated with classmates and family. At 6 feet, Anderson is recognized as a consensus 4-star recruit and is featured in ESPN’s “Next 100” for the Class of 2026. She holds records as the leading scorer and rebounder in King’s basketball history and has earned the Emerald Sound Conference Player of the Year honor three times. Her remarkable high school career includes leading the Knights to the 1A state championship game this year, where she made a dramatic 3-point shot to defeat top-ranked Lynden Christian in the semifinals.

Anderson's commitment to Virginia Tech represents a significant step in her athletic journey, as she prepares to compete at the collegiate level starting in fall 2026.
