Sno-King School Retirees (SKSR) awarded 34 grants to educators in Shoreline Schools this year, continuing its legacy of supporting local education since 1998. The organization has distributed over $158,000 in mini-grants, with $75,155 specifically benefiting Shoreline School District. Among the grant recipients, Savannah Garcia received funding for alternative seating options in her second-grade classroom, while Wendy Jordan secured transportation for a Culinary Arts field trip. Other projects funded include reading materials, nutrition education resources, and bilingual books. SKSR's efforts aim to foster innovative learning environments and enhance student engagement.
