Edgar Oswaldo Gonzalez Barragan, a 32-year-old Mexican national, has been charged with robbery and attempted robbery of three tribal casinos and a U. S. Bank branch in Washington during August 2025. His alleged crime spree commenced on August 1, when he brandished a silver handgun at the Tulalip Quil Ceda Creek Casino and demanded cash. Two days later, he reportedly robbed the Silver Reef Casino, again using a handgun.

On August 9, he attempted to rob the Little Creek Casino but fled after being told there was no cash available. Later that day, a piece of firefighting equipment was reported stolen, which was connected to Gonzalez Barragan through surveillance footage. He successfully robbed the U. S. Bank in Shoreline on August 11, and was arrested shortly thereafter, wearing the same clothing as during the robbery.

Cell phone location data corroborates his presence at all crime scenes. The FBI, along with multiple local law enforcement agencies, is handling the investigation, with Assistant U. S. Attorney Celia Lee leading the prosecution.
