Shoreline, WALocal News

Veterans Day prompted over 50 protesters to gather at the Shoreline-Edmonds line on November 10, 2025, to honor veterans and address current political issues. Organized by Everyday Activists, the weekly protest featured signs showing support for veterans alongside critiques of the government shutdown and concerns regarding President Trump's health. This gathering occurs every Sunday from 1-2 PM at Aurora Ave N and N 205th St. and is part of a broader initiative called "Social Justice Sundays. " The theme for November is "All elections are special," which resonates with the recent election results.

Many participants used their signs to express their views on pressing social issues. The protest allows local voices to engage with significant political topics while fostering community solidarity. Such events play a crucial role in maintaining civic engagement, especially during times of political uncertainty.
