First day election results

King County Elections released the first day of ballot counts, indicating strong support for Prop 1, which continues funding for the Medic One program. In Shoreline, Valerie Snider leads the race for the open council seat, receiving 3,873 votes against Jack Malek's 3,163. Elections processed 7,558 ballots in Shoreline from a pool of 41,408 voters. In Lake Forest Park, incumbent Tracy Furutani enjoys a three-to-one advantage in Position 5, while Matt Muilenburg leads in Position 2 with 1,255 votes against Fred Grant's 293. The contest for Position 1 is tight, with Semra Riddle and Bryce James in a close race, while Position 3 sees Jon Lebo only six votes ahead of challenger Josh Rosenau.

Proposition No. 1 in Lake Forest Park is facing challenges, with 51. 63% of voters opposing it. King County will provide updates on ballot counts every weekday until the election's certification date on November 26, 2025.
