Shorewood Boys Tennis are South League Champions for third straight year

Shorewood claimed the WesCo South 2025 league championship for the third consecutive year, maintaining an undefeated 12-0 record in league play and achieving a 13-1 overall record. The team's season highlights included a strong performance at the Curtis Cup Invitational, where they defeated Enumclaw and Olympia before facing Overlake in the semi-finals. Despite a valiant effort, Shorewood lost to Overlake 4-3 in a tiebreaker, with standout performances from Zack Binz and Xander Gordon in singles. In league play, Shorewood secured victories against conference opponents, finishing with a 6-1 win over second place and a 7-0 win against Lynnwood. The JV team also achieved remarkable success, completing an undefeated season and winning the WesCo South JV league championship.

Coach JT Maschman and his team received accolades for their accomplishments throughout the season. Assistant Coach Ethan Ding played a significant role in supporting both the Varsity and JV teams. Shorewood's achievements reflect the strength and talent within the local tennis community.
