The team also assisted South County Fire with a fire at a vacant Family Fun Center in Edmonds. On Monday morning, they dealt with a motor vehicle collision that required extrication and transported two patients to the hospital. A shooting incident on Monday night prompted a response from law enforcement, which confirmed there was no ongoing threat to the public.

The department issued a safety reminder urging residents to check smoke alarms and wear life jackets. These incidents underscore the challenges faced by local emergency services, revealing the importance of community preparedness. The weekend’s events reflect the ongoing need for vigilance regarding safety practices in the Shoreline area.
