Fairy Feet Irish Dance Class for the Most Magical Trick-or-Treaters

Shoreline, WALocal News

Carroll-Henderson School in Edmonds, WA, will host a free Fairy Feet Irish dance class for preschoolers on October 30, 2025, from 4:15 to 5:00 p. m. Children ages 3-5 are invited to wear fairy costumes and learn basic Irish dance movements in celebration of Samhain, the ancient Irish holiday that lays the groundwork for modern Halloween traditions. This festival, marking the midpoint between the autumnal equinox and winter solstice, is steeped in mythology, where the Otherworld becomes visible to humans. The class aims to instill a sense of creativity and movement in young dancers, making it perfect for those who love to float and be magical.

Families interested in attending should RSVP to ensure participation. The event is part of Carroll-Henderson School's commitment to traditional Irish dancing, which welcomes dancers of all ages. For additional details, Lauren Carroll-Bolger can be reached at carrollhendersonsid@gmail. com.
