Shorewood Boys Cross Country brought home the WesCo South League Title

Shorewood's boys cross country team achieved a remarkable fourth consecutive WesCo South League Title, while the girls team narrowly missed first place. Despite wet and windy conditions, athletes delivered strong performances on a challenging course. Senior Max Billett distinguished himself by winning the WesCo South Individual Cross Country Title, highlighting the team's competitive spirit. The league meet also recognized All League honors, with Shorewood athletes earning spots on both the 1st and 2nd All League teams. In the junior varsity races, both the boys and girls teams placed second, with standout finishes from Chloe Mergler and Colin Casimir.

The WesCo South League encompasses several schools, fostering a robust competitive atmosphere. Next weekend, Shorewood will advance to the NW District 1 Championships at Lakewood HS, aiming for one of the coveted spots in the state meet. The team's ongoing success is a testament to their dedication and talent.
