Medicare Open Enrollment at the Shoreline Library - two sessions in Chinese

Shoreline Library will host free Medicare Open Enrollment sessions in Chinese and English from October 3 through December 19, occurring every Friday from 2 to 5 PM. Notably, there will be no assistance available on November 28. Registration is not required, allowing for flexibility with walk-in attendance as time permits. The sessions will be led by Lee, a volunteer from the Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) program, which offers unbiased and confidential assistance regarding Medicare health care choices. Interested individuals can request appointments via email to Jasmine at jasminec@cisc-seattle.

org. This program aims to address the needs of the local community, especially those who may face language barriers in understanding Medicare. The partnership with the Chinese Information and Service Center (CISC) highlights the commitment to inclusivity in healthcare access.
