Shoreline, WALocal News

In a show of solidarity, nearly 60 protesters gathered at the Shoreline-Edmonds border to voice their opposition to the Trump administration, despite threatening weather conditions. The upcoming "No Kings/Rise Up! " rally is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Park at Town Center, where participants will engage in sign-waving and a march. The event will feature a Kids Area where children can create their own signs, alongside a donation drive for food, toiletries, and school supplies for those in need. Organized by Everyday Activists, the rally is part of a broader nationwide effort to communicate dissent against perceived authoritarianism.

While registration is not required, it is suggested for logistical planning. This protest reflects a growing movement across the country, with similar events planned in neighboring cities. The rally aims to foster community engagement and support for local needs while addressing national concerns. Attendees can find more information and RSVP via mobilize. us or by contacting Everyday Activists.
