Salmon SEEson events will return to Lake Forest Park, offering a guided salmon viewing on October 19, 2025. Participants will gather at Pfingst Animal Acres Park at 3:30 PM for a short walk to the viewing platform along McAleer Creek. The program includes an interactive presentation by University of Washington professor Dr. Jeffery S. Jensen from 3:45 to 4:15 PM, focusing on the significance of salmon in the local ecosystem.

Following the presentation, attendees will reconvene at the creekside platform to spot salmon migrating upstream. The event highlights the importance of salmon spawning in local waterways and promotes environmental awareness. Participants should wear appropriate footwear for the park's uneven terrain and be prepared for potential rain in the fall. The restroom facilities are available onsite for convenience. This event not only educates the public but also fosters appreciation for the region's natural resources.
