Shoreline Police coat drive - also hats, mittens, and socks

Shoreline, WALocal News

Shoreline Police will conduct a coat drive from October 1-17, 2025, to gather new and gently used coats for individuals in need. In addition to coats, residents are encouraged to donate hats, mittens, and socks. Donations will be accepted at the Shoreline Police Lobby, located in the City Hall courtyard, between 9 AM and 4 PM. Community Service Officer Corona invites community members to contribute and help ensure every officer can provide a coat to someone in need this winter. Last winter, many residents faced challenges due to inadequate winter clothing, highlighting the importance of this drive.

The police department aims to foster community support and warmth through this initiative. Interested individuals can reach out to Officer Corona for further details at 206-801-2719. This effort reflects the department's commitment to supporting vulnerable populations during the colder months.
