Shoreline, WALocal News

The Lake Forest Park Police Department has launched the "Pink Patch Project," promoting breast cancer awareness through the sale of pink patches and challenge coins. Each patch is priced at $10, or two for $15, while challenge coins are available for $10 each. Proceeds from these sales will support organizations that provide essential care, hope, and resources for individuals affected by breast cancer. Commander Diego Zanella encourages community participation and can be reached at dzanella@cityoflfp. gov for inquiries.

This initiative not only raises funds but also fosters community solidarity against a disease that affects many. The project reflects a growing trend among law enforcement agencies to engage in social causes. The items can be purchased at the Lake Forest Park Police Department located at 17425 Ballinger Way NE. By participating, the department aims to make a tangible impact in the fight against breast cancer.
