Roundabout open on 145th west of I-5

Shoreline, WALocal News

The newly opened roundabout at 145th Street west of I-5 improves traffic flow with a southbound exit and entrance. Drivers can also navigate in a circle to retrace their route. Pedestrian crossings on both sides connect to sidewalks on the freeway overpass, although sidewalks leading west are currently absent. Local residents anticipate further development to address this gap in accessibility. The east side roundabout is still pending, leaving some motorists and pedestrians waiting for improved infrastructure.

City planners have yet to announce a timeline for this project. Enhancements to pedestrian access could significantly improve safety and connectivity in the area. Residents remain hopeful for timely updates on the matching roundabout.
