The Shoreline Area Fire Department will host an Open House on September 20 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Station 61, inviting families to participate in fire safety education. The event features a lineup of demonstrations, including vehicle extrication and high-performance CPR, along with a cadet competition. Free hotdogs will be available, fostering a welcoming environment for community engagement. Attendees can meet firefighters and explore firefighting apparatus and equipment. This initiative underscores the department's dedication to public safety and community involvement.

In addition to the demonstrations, families can enjoy activities such as a Kid’s Agility Course and Teddy Bear 1st Aid Clinic. The event aims to educate attendees on life-saving fire and safety tips. Organizers encourage everyone to join for a day filled with learning and fun.
