Social Justice Sundays resume

Shoreline, WALocal News

"Social Justice Sundays" resume at the Shoreline-Edmonds line, organized by Everyday Activists, every weekend from 1-2 PM. The gatherings aim to mobilize community members against perceived authoritarianism from President Trump, which the group claims undermines democracy and the economy. Participants are encouraged to bring their own signs or simply attend to voice their opinions. Additionally, attendees can contribute food and toiletries for local organizations that support those in need. Following a successful "Workers Over Billionaires" rally on Labor Day, the next Nationwide Day of Action will occur on October 18, themed "Rise Up!

" This event is co-organized by Indivisible ShorelineWA and will take place at the Park at Town Center from 1:30-3 PM. The ongoing sign-wavings will run through the end of September, fostering community engagement and activism. Such events reflect a growing trend of local activism in response to national political issues.
