Shoreline Fire responded to a multi-family structure fire at Junction 160 apartments on August 26, 2025, with assistance from neighboring fire departments. The fire affected three apartments on the second through fourth floors, but firefighters successfully contained it. During the operation, crews rescued multiple pets, including a kitten and a large-breed dog. No injuries were reported among residents or firefighters, a fortunate outcome given the circumstances. The American Red Cross was present to assist displaced residents from the most impacted units.

Community support came from Domino’s Pizza, which provided food for both affected residents and first responders. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, highlighting the need for ongoing safety assessments in multi-family housing. This incident underscores the importance of rapid response and community support during emergencies.
