Shoreline Fire and a Seattle Fire crew responded shortly after noon, when witnesses reported a 20-foot plume of smoke. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a fully involved vehicle fire that had spread to the residence, prompting urgent action to control the flames. Despite their quick response, the vehicle was a total loss, and the house suffered considerable damage. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries, and the American Red Cross Northwest Region provided assistance to the displaced resident.

This incident marked Shoreline Fire's third structure fire in just four days, highlighting an uptick in local fire emergencies. A thorough investigation determined the cause of the fire to be accidental in nature. Fire officials emphasize the importance of fire safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
