The Shoreline School District and the Shoreline Education Association (SEA) reached a tentative agreement after 23 days of negotiations aimed at enhancing educational quality. The bargaining teams prioritized student needs throughout the process, which involved sessions during late nights and weekends. The agreement requires approval from SEA members and the Shoreline School Board before it can be finalized. Students in grades 1-12 will start school on September 3, while kindergarten and preschool will commence on September 8. The collaborative spirit fostered during negotiations led to creative solutions that benefit all parties involved.
