New digital sound board for Third Place Commons

Shoreline, WALocal News

Third Place Commons has upgraded to a new digital sound board, thanks to funding from King County Parks & Recreation and support from Councilmember Rod Dembowski. The new system replaces an aging analog board that had been in use for decades, ensuring higher sound quality for live performances and community events. This venue, located in Lake Forest Park, hosts live music every Friday and Saturday night, along with various community group events throughout the year. Staff members Geoff Lloyd and Kim Caudill were instrumental in the installation of the new sound system. The upgrade aims to enhance the auditory experience for both performers and attendees.

With the new sound board, Third Place Commons seeks to attract more visitors and increase participation in its events. The Commons Stage is situated on the upper level of Town Center Lake Forest Park, adjacent to Third Place Books. Residents are invited to come and enjoy the improved sound quality firsthand.
