The training, facilitated by certified trainer Lizbeth Adams, aims to equip volunteers with essential skills to engage with their community effectively. Participants will explore five core practices: hospitality, neighboring, listening, sharing the journey side-by-side, and accompaniment. This training encourages a shift from transactional interactions to relational engagement, fostering deeper connections. A $5 donation is suggested for those attending, making it accessible to a broader audience.

Adams has extensive experience working with unhoused neighbors in Seattle, enhancing the training's relevance and impact.
