Cascadia Art Museum Celebrates 10 Years with Free Community Day

Cascadia Art Museum plans a celebratory event, Cascadia Day, on September 13, 2025, from 11:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. , marking its 10th anniversary.

The museum will offer free admission, art-making activities, guided tours led by ambassadors, and refreshments for attendees. A proclamation from the Mayor of Edmonds at 12:30 p. m. will officially declare September 13 as “Cascadia Art Museum Day. ” Since its establishment in 2015, the museum has become a key cultural institution in Edmonds, focusing on preserving and showcasing Northwest art from 1870–1970.

Over the past decade, it has hosted thousands of visitors and built a collection reflecting the region's artistic legacy. Executive Director Sally Ralston noted the significance of the event as a way to thank the community for its ongoing support. The day will celebrate creativity and community while inviting visitors to explore the museum's galleries. Cascadia Day promises to be a memorable occasion for art enthusiasts and families alike.
