Youth camps for softball players at Shoreline College in September

Shoreline, WALocal News

Crystelle Fischer and Heidi Aarestad, former Dolphins, reunite as head and assistant coaches for the Shoreline College softball team after years as youth coaches. They aim to enhance the program by engaging the local community and nurturing young talent. Two youth softball camps are scheduled for September 2025, with a prospect camp on the 13th focused on athletes graduating from 2026 to 2029. The second camp on the 20th offers sessions for ages 7-11 and 11-14, concentrating on specific skills such as fielding and hitting. Participants must bring their own equipment, including gloves and bats, to the camps at Shoreview Park.

Fischer emphasizes the importance of building a positive mindset alongside technical skills. Coaches and current college players will assist in training and identifying future talent. For registration and inquiries, interested individuals can contact Coach Fischer directly via email.
